Adobe Photoshop Style Layer Effects: Series #7
Overflowing with more Photoshop Style Layers to produce effects quickly

In series 7 of my Adobe Photoshop 7 Style Layer tutorials, I have created another 3 effects that you can implement into your Style Layers palette to give your designs or text elements a new look quick and easy. The three effects are named “Mystery”, “Mystic” and “Stone Age.” These Style Layers will work well with either objects or text as the examples display. Detailed instructions have been added to help the user install and implement the Style Layers into their next Photoshop project. Have fun and enjoy the effects!

Style effect #1:
In the first example, the phrase “Mystery” is created using the Clarendon Condensed font with a combination of the Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Satin, Gradient Overlay and Stroke. You can modify the settings of the style layer to provide you with a design more to your liking. For example, changing the angle of the Inner Shadow from 120 degrees to –106 will make the design appear with a beveled look. If you don’t like the green, you can change it by tweaking the Satin and Inner Glow settings.

Mystery

Style effect #2:
In the second example, the phrase “Mystic” is created using the Space Toaster font and the Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Gradient Overlay, Pattern Overlay and Stroke effects.
Mystic

Style effect #3:
In the third example, the phrase “Marble” is created using Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss (Contour), Satin, Pattern Overlay and Stroke. By using the Rust Flakes pattern found in the Pattern Overlay style option, this gives your object a more marble look to your design. If the brownish color tone doesn’t fit your taste, you can change the Satin style effect to a color more to your liking.
Stone Age
