Adobe Photoshop 7 Style Layer Effects: Series #6 In series 6 of my Adobe Photoshop 7 Style Layer tutorials, I have created another 3 effects that you can implement into your Style Layers palette to give your designs or text elements a new look quick and easy. The three effects are named “Frozen Tundra”, “Jaguar” and “Jungle Jim.” These Style Layers will work well with either objects or text as the examples display. Detailed instructions have been added to help the user install and implement the Style Layers into their next Photoshop project. Have fun and enjoy the effects! Style effect #1: In the first example, the phrase “Frozen Tundra” is created using the Miserable font with the Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss (contour and texture), Color Overlay and Stroke to complete the effect. ![]() Style effect #2: In the second example, the phrase “Jaguar” is created using the Miserable font utilizing the Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Satin, Pattern Overlay and Stroke. The Oil Pastel Light pattern was used in the Pattern Overlay to give the object its “spots.” The orange toned Satin effect provided the overall coloring, which worked well in creating the “Jaguar” look and feel. ![]() [an error occurred while processing this directive] Style effect #3: In the third example, the phrase “Jungle Jim” is created using Bevel and Emboss, Satin, Gradient Overlay and Stroke. The effect is subtle and clean compared to the two previous Style Layers but it’s still effective in its design. ![]() For installation instructions and FREE style layer file download, follow link below to page two of this tutorial. 1 2 Next [an error occurred while processing this directive] ![]() |
